Visitors were invited to lie in a bed full of rice, or sleep in it overnight, in order to immerse themselves in the sensation and smell of the piece.

This bed was outfitted with a set of sheets sewn from book pages. Using erotica, dating advice and the psychoanalysis of motherhood the bed examined the many lenses of a woman's relationship to beds. Visitors were invited to lie or sleep overnight in the bed, inevitably tearing the sheets, but better acquainting them with the sensual components of the installation.
